A short new teaser video has been released for the upcoming Expelled From Paradise sequel anime film during Aniplex Online Fest 2025. The new film is expected to premiere in Japan sometime in 2026.
The short video also confirmed that more new information for the Expelled From Paradise sequel will be announced this coming November.

Seiji Mizushima (returning) is directing the sequel anime film, with Gen Urobuchi (returning) as screenwriter: Gen Urobuchi (returning), Masatsugu Saito (returning) as character designer, and NARASAKI (returning) as music composer.
Kanetake Ebikawa (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury co-mechanical designer), Junya Ishigaki (Expelled from Paradise, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing co-mechanical designer), and Takayuki Yanase (Expelled from Paradise and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury co-mechanical designer) are serving as the film’s mechanical designers.
The most recent promotional materials for the sequel film no longer feature the initial English title Liberation from Paradise. The description of another teaser video, released in November 2024, only mentioned the Japanese title Rakuen Tsuihou -Kokoro no Resonance- (the first teaser trailer also had Rakuen Tsuihou -Liberation from Paradise- written) while the English text in the title logo is “Expelled from Paradise.”
In the future setting of Expelled from Paradise, most of mankind has become digitized and live in a virtual society called DEVA. When a hacker manages to infiltrate this supposed paradise, agent Angela Balzac is sent to ruined Earth with a physical body to find the culprit.
