The MangaPlus X (formerly Twitter) account has announced that the manga platform will publish the upcoming new manga Witchriv starting October 23 JST. It will simultaneously be released in Japan on Shonen Jump+.
Witchriv‘s creator is Hakuri. They previously worked on the One Room of Happiness manga, which follows a girl and her kidnapper. The promotional image for Witchriv displays a female character with braided twintails.

The character has a strong resemblance to (and is likely) Meriri, the main protagonist of Hakuri’s 2024 one-shot Meririrarariri and a young witch who is under the tutelage of her mother. In the setting of that story, humans have a great dislike of witches, and magic requires composure to be wielded.
MangaPlus also announced the simultaneous release of Yu Miki‘s Bateren Kaidan, which will begin on October 3 JST.
