You Don’t Know Gunma Yet Reiwa Edition Light Anime Shares Second Teaser Trailer, Theme Song News

 The upcoming light anime adaptation of Hiroto Ida’s comedy manga You Don’t Know Gunma Yet has unveiled more of the action to come in a second teaser trailer released this week. Plus, a Gunma-born musician joins the production to perform the show’s theme song. First up, check out the second teaser trailer: You Don’t Know Gunma Yet Reiwa Edition Teaser 2 RELATED: You Don’t Know Gunma Yet Reiwa Edition Light Anime Premieres in January 2026 The tail end of the trailer features a sample of the show’s theme song, “Jomo Karuta ~Reiwa Edition~.” The title refers to a type of karuta card game with phrases themed around Gunma and its history. Gunma-based musician Masayuki Deguchi performs the new theme song. Key visual Ida’s original You Don’t Know Gunma Yet manga ran in Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website from October 2013 to May 2019, releasing 11 collected volumes in Japan. It was previously adapted into a four-episode live-action TV drama with a feature film in 2017, and a 12-episode TV anime in 2018. In the new anime, Gakuto Kajiwara (Asta in Black Clover ) and Jun Kasama (Amehiko Kuzunoha in THE IDOLM@STER SideM ) are confirmed to reprise their roles as the two protagonists from the 2018 edition — Nori Kamitsuki and Otoya Todoroki. Tetsuya Tatamitani ( Thermae Romae Novae ) serves as director and series composition writer. Eimi Saito and Kohei Nakayama provide scripts, and Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio work on animation production.
